Harry Kane Dispels England World Cup Rift Rumors Involving Jude Bellingham, Thomas Tuchel
England captain Harry Kane has vehemently denied reports of a squad rift, defending both Jude Bellingham's post-match comments and Thomas Tuchel's critical assessment following their World Cup quarterfinal victory.

England's captain, Harry Kane, has moved to quell any suggestions of internal conflict within the squad, particularly concerning comments made by star midfielder Jude Bellingham in response to manager Thomas Tuchel's critique of their recent 2-1 World Cup quarterfinal triumph over Norway.
Speaking in the lead-up to England's highly anticipated World Cup semifinal clash against Argentina in Atlanta on Wednesday, Kane dismissed the circulating rumors of unrest. He accused certain media outlets of attempting to create division within the Three Lions camp.
"When you are playing a game like that and to be asked a question five minutes after the final whistle, and he didn't really know what had been said, what do you want Jude to say?" Kane stated, defending Bellingham's immediate reaction.
Disagreement Emerges Post-Match
The arduous 2-1 extra-time quarterfinal victory against Norway took place on Saturday in the punishing Miami heat. Bellingham was the standout performer, netting both of England's goals, including a dramatic winner in the 93rd minute.
However, moments after the final whistle, Tuchel delivered a remarkably candid and critical assessment of the team's performance to television cameras.
"The result is fantastic. We're in the last four... but not happy with the performance, in every sense," Tuchel expressed pitchside. "Sloppy, lot of technical mistakes, not fast enough... We were lucky today."
The 23-year-old Bellingham, a rising star, openly challenged his manager's remarks.
"Yeah, well, whatever," Bellingham retorted. "Maybe he doesn't know what it's like to play in those kind of conditions against Erling Haaland, Odegaard ... That's not an easy team to play against."
Kane Defends Teammate and Coach
While the exchange quickly became a talking point, Kane firmly backed his teammate, suggesting that the media was attempting to manufacture discord where none existed. "I think it's easy to try and create this division," Kane elaborated. "It seems like an English mentality, an English thing to do at these major tournaments, but it's the complete opposite."
Far from criticizing Tuchel for his public critique, Kane praised the manager's passionate approach and intensity.
"He wears his heart on his sleeve and people appreciate that," Kane observed. "When he talks, it is never scripted. That is what makes him who he is. When it just comes naturally, you believe in that."
Kane further emphasized the strong bonds within the squad. "The group is where we are because of our complete togetherness, not just the players, the coach and the staff," he added, concluding, "Things sometimes get made out to be more than they are."
Focus Shifts to Semifinal Clash
England is now preparing to put aside any external distractions and focus on their upcoming match against Argentina, with a coveted spot in the World Cup final at stake.
