Pete Hegseth was recently in Colorado Springs to attend the football game between the Air Force Falcons and the Navy Midshipmen. During his time at the academy, he also took the opportunity to display some notable athletic abilities.
Hegseth demonstrated his basketball talent by successfully sinking a series of three-point shots.
Basketball Prowess Displayed
While on the court at Clune Arena within the Air Force Academy, Hegseth attempted ten three-pointers from the top of the arc, converting nine of them. This exhibition highlighted a significant level of shooting accuracy.
His visit, however, was not solely to showcase his long-range shooting skills. Hegseth was at the Air Force Academy to engage with cadets ahead of the Falcons-Midshipmen game, which was held on a Saturday afternoon.
Pre-Game Engagements and Football Action
Just prior to kickoff, Hegseth was present on the field to preside over the coin toss ceremony for the highly anticipated matchup.
The Air Force Falcons ultimately secured a 14-9 victory, improving their season record to 3-1. The Midshipmen, following this loss, moved to a 1-3 record.
Looking ahead, the Falcons are scheduled to play Northern Illinois next weekend. Meanwhile, the Midshipmen will return home to host Tulsa in their upcoming game.
